The air duct connects the exhaust opening of the hood with the ventilation hatch in the wall. It is a corrugated pipe made of aluminum or plastic. The corrugation does not look aesthetically pleasing and at the same time it is quite difficult to clean it from dust, grease and other impurities.

The decorative casing is designed to mask the flexible air duct of the hood and some other parts of its internal structure. This makes the interior of the kitchen complete.

In addition, the box serves as a cover for the corrugation, protecting it from contamination. Thanks to this, the care of the hood is much easier.

Depending on the length of the corrugated pipe, one hood may require several boxes.
