Main characteristics

The Minola HPL 512 I flat kitchen hood is equipped with one 80 W motor. The maximum productivity of the device in the air extraction mode is 450 m³/h, which allows you to effectively remove vapors, unwanted odors and soot, which are formed in the process of cooking.

Design of hood

A flat hood resembles a built-in hood, but it is much more compact. Despite this, the device is not inferior in its characteristics and quality to hoods of other types. The small height makes it easy to install this model under a wall cabinet. Thanks to these properties, the hood is practically invisible in the kitchen, so it can be said that it is simply created for small spaces.

Aluminum filters

The Minola HPL 512 I kitchen hood is equipped with two protective aluminum grease filters. They are made of several layers of aluminum mesh, which provides reliable protection of the engine and other parts of the device against the ingress of grease and dirt. Aluminum filters should be cleaned every 2-3 months by hand in a soap solution or in a dishwasher.

Operation modes

The hood can work in two modes:

1. Discharge mode – air is discharged through the ventilation hole;
2. Recirculation mode* – air circulates inside the room and is purified by passing through a carbon filter (Art. 0015).

*Using the hood recirculation mode is possible only after installing a carbon filter, which is sold separately. You can also choose a suitable carbon filter for your hood from the manufacturer minola.ua.

Mechanical control

The mechanical control switch is located on the side. On it there are buttons for switching speeds and turning on/off the lighting.

Lighting

The hood for the kitchen is equipped with a 1.5 W LED lamp. It is LED lamps that are the best choice for additional lighting of the kitchen surface, as they allow you to significantly reduce electricity costs and also have a high light output.

Operating speeds

The hood has 3 operating speeds. The required speed is chosen based on the intensity of air pollution in the kitchen. Each speed is characterized by different performance:

• At the first operating speed, the hood provides minimal performance and noise and is used at a low intensity of fumes;
• The second speed with medium performance is used most often and is suitable for air purification when cooking food on two burners at the same time;
• The third speed of operation with maximum performance and noise level is used for high concentration of vapors, heat and smoke, which are formed during intensive cooking.

The noise level of the device does not exceed 63 dB, which is considered a comfortable value.
