Inclined kitchen hood Minola HVS 5242 WH 700 LED is equipped with one motor with an optimal power of 100 W. The maximum productivity of the device in air extraction mode is 700 m³/h. This allows you to effectively remove fumes, unwanted smells and soot, which are formed in the process of cooking.

The hood with a standard width of 49.5 cm is ideal for use with a hob of the same size, which is universal for most kitchen spaces.

Layout and design

The hood is equipped with a touch control panel. It is not only convenient to use, but also emphasizes the minimalist design of the device. The panel is located on the hinged front part under the decorative glass, which protects it from dirt. When the functions are activated, the corresponding symbols are marked with a blue backlight, which makes the appearance of the panel even more pleasant.

Aluminum filter

The kitchen hood is equipped with an aluminum grease filter consisting of three layers. It provides reliable protection of the engine and other parts of the device against the ingress of grease and vapors.

The aluminum filter should be cleaned every 2-3 months by hand in a soapy solution or in the dishwasher.

Operation modes

The hood can work in two modes:

1. Discharge mode – air is discharged through the ventilation hole;
2. Recirculation mode* – air circulates inside the room and is purified by passing through a carbon filter.

Convenient management

The modern touch control panel is very simple and intuitive. Sensors for turning on/off the hood, timer, lighting, and switching speeds are located on it. You can activate the desired function with one light touch.

Timer and Auto Shutdown

This model is equipped with timer and auto-off functions. Activate the timer after the cooking process is finished to keep the hood running for another 15 minutes. This is necessary for complete air purification in the kitchen. After 15 minutes, the device will automatically turn off.

To start the timer, touch any speed symbol on the control panel and hold for 5 seconds. You can turn off the timer by touching the same or another speed symbol without holding.

Modern lighting

The decorative kitchen hood is equipped with two round LED lamps with a power of 1 W each. LED provide comfortable additional lighting of the cooking surface, which is the most economical light source.

Operating speeds

The hood has 3 operating speeds. The required speed is chosen based on the intensity of air pollution in the kitchen. Each speed is characterized by different performance:

• At the first operating speed, the hood provides minimal performance and noise and is used at a low intensity of fumes;
• The second speed with medium performance is used most often and is suitable for air purification when cooking food on two burners at the same time;
• The third speed of operation with maximum performance and noise level is used for high concentration of vapors, heat and smoke, which are formed during intensive cooking.

The noise level of the device does not exceed 63 dB, which is considered a comfortable value.
